Battlestar Galactica Cast

Eighteen months ago, Ellen Tigh was poisoned by her husband, Saul, for conspiring with the Cylons on New Caprica; however, unbeknownst to both of them, Ellen was one of the Cylon replicas – and she was promptly resurrected aboard Cavil’s baseship with her memory fully restored. But Ellen’s pleasure at being reunited with her creation is quickly crushed, as Cavil voices his resentment at being made with human weaknesses and flaws. Back in the present, on the Galactica, Doctor Cottle advises Starbuck that the bullet lodged in her husband’s brain will kill him unless it is removed; however, Anders refuses the operation – the object has restored lost memories of his time on Earth thousands of years ago, revelations that reveal astonishing facts about the creation of the Human and Cylon races: it seems that the Cylons didn't invent resurrection – organic memory came from Kobol and the Thirteen tribes, using a resurrection ship that orbited Earth; when the ship was destroyed during the war the Final Five worked together to rebuild it, but it was Ellen who actually restored the system; and after the Holocaust, Anders, Tyrol, Tory, Ellen and Tigh left Earth and travelled to the colonies, time passing differently for them due to their faster than light technology. Meanwhile, in the aftermath of Zarek and Gaeta’s mutiny, Roslin supports Apollo’s proposal to appoint a new Quorum of Twelve, this time with representatives from the Fleet’s main vessels; Roslin then offers Lee the opportunity to take over the Presidency. Having reappointed Tyrol as Chief, Admiral Adama learns that the Galactica’s infrastructure is riddled with fractures – and the only way to repair his vessel is to use an organic compound found on the Cylon baseship. Colonel Tigh and Caprica 6 look forward to the birth of their baby. Cavil reveals to Ellen how he killed the Five and then arranged for them to be reborn with false memories, just so they could share his suffering; appalled at her creation’s sadism and pettiness, Ellen confronts him over his murder of an Eighth Cylon, Daniel. Cavil is unrepentant, and to ensure his continued survival, he decides to cut open his creator’s brain and extract the knowledge required to rebuild the Resurrection Ship…
