Buffy

Principal Snyder assigns the organisation of the school’s Parent-Teacher evening to his two worst students: Buffy and Shelia. Meanwhile, the vampire couple Spike and Drusilla arrive in town, but receive a cold reception by the Anointed One. They decide to strike a deal with him, claiming that they can rid him of his Slayer problem, as Spike has killed two Slayers in his career; the Night of St Vigeous will occur on Saturday, a time when a vampire's strength is at its peak. That night, Spike watches Buffy at ‘The Bronze’, and warns her that he will kill her on Saturday evening. He then lures Shelia to his warehouse and feeds her to Drusilla, who is weak from a mob attack while they were in Prague. At Parent-Teacher evening Buffy is unable to keep her mother and Snyder apart; she is about to receive a grounding after her mother learns of her irregular school attendances and failing marks, when the school is suddenly attacked by Spike and his army of vampires, who have cut the power and phone lines. Buffy manages to get her mother, Snyder and some other parents into the safety of a classroom; meanwhile Willow and Cordelia hide in a closet, and Giles, Jenny and Xander barricade themselves inside the library. Buffy takes on the vampires, including a newly-vampirised Shelia. Xander manages to escape undetected, and he alerts Angel to the danger that everyone is in. After an angry confrontation with Angel, his sire and former mentor, Spike almost kills Buffy, but an enraged Joyce Summers knocks him over the head with an axe. Joyce tells Buffy how proud she is of her daughter’s bravery, qualities which are more important that her problems at school. Elsewhere, Spike and Drusilla are here to stay, and as demonstration of their power, they kill the Anointed One.
