When something takes over the Grand Sequia power station, sending the turbines into overload and increasing the water flow enough to crack the dam wall, <I>International Rescue</I> immediately mobilises <I>Thunderbird 1</I> and <I>Thunderbird 2</I> to rescue the workers trapped inside. Virgil literally drops off <I>Thunderbird 4</I> into the river to mend the dam wall below sea level, then takes a Ginko-Pod out to seal the cracks high above. Meanwhile, Scott gains access to the station via a water vent, narrowly escaping a torrent of water en-route with the aid of his jet-pack. Arriving in the drive room, Scott looks for the trapped workers, and finds a docked aircraft holding a set of giant high-density batteries that are leeching the power from the turbines. When the team is attacked by mechas, they realise that the Mechanic is behind the power theft – and unless they can stop him, the town downstream will be wiped out…
