'Contrarians' (Part 1) story by Joe Harris

While out for a pre-work run along National Mall, Mulder chances upon a dying man, who hands him a Manilla folder. After the mysterious man has been rushed away in an ambulance, Mulder takes the folder to his office at FBI headquarters for study; discovering that it contains evidence that suggests the Syndicate was involved in the Iran-Contra affair back in the 1980s, he realises that the dying man may have been after a different Mulder entirely...
